From My Embroidery Machine
I make these glasses cases because they are such a handy way to keep your reading or driving glasses safe when they’re tucked in your bag or pocket. I designed them for those of us who want a more substantial feel for our frames without the weight and clunkiness of a plastic hard shell. Each case is created on my embroidery machine using a specialist internal structure that gives it a firm, crisp shape while staying remarkably slim.
Design Details
I really enjoy picking out the different fabric patterns, whether it’s a print of my original watercolour artwork or a carefully chosen faux leather, and pairing them with a matching lining. Inside, I line the case with a soft faux suede; it’s a lovely material that is gentle on your lenses and helps protect them against any dust or bumps. To give them a professional, neat finish, I stitch a delicate satin twist around the edge.
