Professional Craftsmanship in Watford
I’m Maggie, the maker behind Bootiful Things. From my creative studios in Watford, Hertfordshire, I work between a dedicated print room and my garden sewing space. My journey has been one of rediscovery returning to a childhood love for sewing after a career change evolving from handmade cloth nappies into the carefully crafted bags and gifts I produce today.
What began in 2017 as a small selection of totes has grown into a busy space where I combine classic craftsmanship with modern printing and technical embroidery. I believe that “handmade” should still mean a professional finish. I strive for a level of craftsmanship where every stitch is intentional, ensuring you feel the care and precision in the details. Whether I’m printing bone china mugs or sewing a complex bag, my goal is for you to feel a sense of joy when you open your parcel, knowing it was made with a maker’s eye for detail.
I take a practical approach to sustainability by reusing packaging and occasionally gathering “hidden gems” of end of line fabrics from the Watford Recycling Arts Project to give them a new lease of life. As always, quality craftsmanship and passion are at the heart of everything I do, and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it for you.
