From My Palette to Your Morning Coffee: The Story of This Planner
There is something quite special about clearing the “mental clutter” before the day begins. This quarterly planner wasn’t born in a factory; it was built right here in my studio, born from a desire to create a gentle space for those thoughts that tend to bounce around our heads and disappear by lunchtime.
Hand-Drawn & Heart Made
Every single element of this book has passed through my hands. It started with a watercolour painting on my desk, which I then digitised to create the covers. I didn’t use any templates for the pages; I built them from scratch in my design software, tucking in little hand drawn ivy doodles and icons I sketched in Procreate.
From the spring intention prompts to help focus the mind, to the tiny mushroom details, every page was placed there with purpose.
More Than Just Paper
I wanted this to be a kind, user friendly companion, not a “labour-intensive” chore. It’s about:
-
Maggie Boo original art: A high quality print of my own watercolour work on a sturdy, hand laminated hardback cover.
-
Premium 100 GSM paper: Carefully selected so your favourite pens can glide without the worry of ink bleeding through.
-
Thoughtful extras: A little pocket in the back for your bits and bobs, a set of bonus stickers, and a magnetic bookmark I’ve tucked in to keep your place.
-
Built for real life: 65 dedicated weekday pages, because your weekends should be long to you, giving you the breathing space you deserve.
-
Dimensions and quality: A sturdy, wipe clean hardback book that is perfectly portable at approximately 21.5cm (H) x 15.25cm (W).
-
Finished in my studio: Each book is carefully wire bound and finished by me, ensuring it’s sturdy enough to live in your bag but beautiful enough to sit on your bedside table.
Emptying the Headspace
Whether you’re sitting down with a quiet cup of coffee first thing or reflecting before bed, this is about getting those “to dos” out of your head and onto the page. Even if they don’t all get ticked off, the act of writing them down gives you the headspace to breathe.
It’s a seasonal guide, a gentle nudge, and a bit of art, all bound together just for you.
